Help With Cookie
A "cookie" is a piece of limited, internal information transmitted between server software and your browser. The cookie stores information so that our site immediately recognizes you each time you log in. This permits us to provide you with secured access to your data. To be sure your cookies are set up, please follow the instructions below.
Click on the name of the browser which you're using to receive directions about enabling cookies.
Navigator 3+ | Navigator 4+ | Navigator 7+
Internet Explorer 3+ | Internet Explorer 4+ | Internet Explorer 5+ | Internet Explorer 6+
AOL users
Netscape Navigator 3+:
- Click on "Options" > "Network Preferences"
- Select the "Protocols" tab.
- The box reads "Show an alert before..." Make sure that the checkbox next to "Accepting a cookie" is NOT checked.
Netscape Navigator 4+:
- Click on "Edit" > "Preferences".
- Select "Advanced" on the left hand side.
- In the "Cookies" field select "Accept all cookies to enable the transmission of cookie information." In Netscape 4.0+ this reads "Select all cookies." By default, this item is selected.
Netscape Navigator 7+:
- Click on "Edit" > "Preferences".
- Select "Advanced" on the left hand side.
- Expand the "Privacy & Security" group.
- Click on "Cookie".
- Select "Allow cookies for the originating web site only".
- At "Cookie Lifetime Policy", select at least "Accept for current session only".
- Click "OK".
Internet Explorer 3+:
- Click on "View" > "Options".
- Select the "Advanced" tab.
- Make sure "Warn before accepting cookies" is not checked off.
- Press "Apply".
- Click "Okay".
Internet Explorer 4+:
- Click on "View" > "Internet Options".
- Select the "Advanced" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" field and make sure "Accept all cookies" is selected.
- Press "Apply".
- Click "Okay".
Internet Explorer 5+:
- Go to "Tools" > "Internet Options".
- Click on the "Security" tab.
- Click on the button "Custom Level".
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" field.
- Make sure that "Enable" is selected for both "Cookies" entries.
- Click "Okay".
- Click "Apply".
Internet Explorer 6+:
- Go to "Tools" > "Internet Options".
- Click on the "Privacy" tab.
- Click on the button "Advanced".
- Check on "Override automatic cookie handling" field.
- Make sure that "Accept" is selected for both "Cookies" entries.
- Check "Accept sesseion cookie".
- Uncheck "Override automatic cookie handling" field.
- Click "OK".
- Click "Apply" then "OK".
AOL users:
The process for enabling or disabling cookies depends on which web browser you use along with your AOL browser. Please follow the instructions above for whichever version of Netscape or Internet Explorer you use with your AOL browser.
